We usually have an arrangement where I’ll insist on swabbing his funky toenails right before bedtime, but we both forget a lot of the time — and if I forget, there’s no WAY he’ll remember!

Hopefully you can be the motivation I needed to really nag him about it and force him to let me apply it. :) For what it’s worth, I use about 50% neem, a bunch of tea tree and tagetes and manuka, and a tiny bit of macadamia oil as a carrier. I score the toenail a bit with a file, and then I apply with a Q-Tip and try not to wipe it off.

I’ve often been told that doing a vinegar bath is even more effective, but since Grant can’t stand the smell of vinegar, I know I’d never get him to agree to that. So this is our next best thing, but you REALLY need to be diligent and consistent — something we’re both pretty bad at.
